Today is my mom’s birthday. Happy birthday, Mom! It’s a big one too. I won’t say how big. But I will say she looks more like my big sister than my mom. Hooray for good genes! I tried really hard to give her a grandchild on her birthday but it seems I just couldn’t deliver. She’ll have to settle for a belated gift.
So this dress… I was a little hesitant to wear it today, since mustard is such a fall color. And then I realized I don’t really give a shit that it’s not fall. I wanted to wear a comfortable dress. I’m excited to wear this with over the knee socks and boots or some tights and pumps. Layer it up, tuck it in, belt it… OPTIONS. I like having them.
As you can see, I get a little nervous about my belly pulling up my flowy dress so I added a little insurance underneath. Because nobody wants to see my goods.
