I have a problem. And it’s name is Stripes.  

I did a little shopping on Saturday and I’m not kidding when I say I went nuts for Stripes. I might need an intervention. Even this skirt has stripes. I’ve got it so badly that I’m pairing stripes with stripes. 

Oh boy. 

Do you think Tiger Beat will do a story on Stripes this month? Gosh, I hope so. I’d really like to hang some pictures of Stripes all over my walls and listen to my walkman and fantasize that Stripes dreams of me too. 

This silver drop necklace was an obsession of mine when I was younger. I remember my mom wearing it all of the time and I distinctly remember coveting it. So when she and I went through all of her jewelry, I made sure to request this piece. You should have seen her. She looked so proud to pass this guy along to me. But she made sure to tell me she wanted it back.

We’ll see if I can work on that one.

Both chains are from the 70s. She takes impeccable care of her jewels. And she clearly purchases things that hold up. These two pieces look brand spankin’ new.
