Having reached a point on a DIMy project that I’m working on, which involves an old jacket being converted into a vest with copious studding, I decided to take the final bit of fabric I purchased a few weeks ago and make something.
Now, before you allow the awe to wash over you, I did make this dress this afternoon. However, it’s truly the easiest garment to make and I’ve made it four or five times. Cut, sew, sew, hem, done. I’m quite happy with the way it turned out though.
This Saturday The Husband and I are running home to visit with a lot of family we haven’t seen since the holidays. It’s and up and back trip, because we have a birthday party for my pal Kim Saturday night. I’d very much like to wear something that is appropriate for family and a party AND that is comfortable. Enter this new dress…
What should I wear on Saturday?
A. Jeans? Really?

B. Keep It Simple.

C. Orange Pop.

I look forward to see which you choose!
And finally, as promised, the winner of the KIST Boutique Grasp Necklace giveaway!
Congratulations Thelma! I will email you to get your contact information.

Thank you everyone for participating! I hope to have another giveaway for you very soon, so stay tuned.
