One of the perks of working Downtown is you have a lot of dining options. That fact is underscored whenever I talk about what I did for lunch with CJ. He works just north of the city. The restaurants within walking distance of his office offer{s} croutons to fancify an iceberg lettuce salad.
Market Square has seen some turnover over the last couple of years. I had been to Sienna when it was Bella Sera. The decor is nearly the same. But the food, at least for me today, seems to have improved significantly. I had a salad. But it was well dressed and I was able to add portobello mushrooms to give it a bit more heft. The bread and the white bean puree were also excellent. Thanks to the server, I knew exactly what was in the puree {without having to ask}.
It was only one experience, but it was a pleasant one. We didn’t feel rushed, but got our food quickly so that we weren’t delayed in returning to our respective offices.
Have you been to Sienna? Thoughts?
