As I am sure you all know, today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Life featured a number of photo galleries today chronicling the life of Dr. King and the era in which he wielded so much influence. This was one of my favorites.

I worked today, but I truly don’t mind. I’m fairly certain Dr. King didn’t intend for us to get great deals on appliances in his name. There is nothing wrong with work. It keeps us honest.
