
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. TARDY, weatherman. Tardy.
The temperatures went from a balmy 50 degrees to a painful some-teen. I can think of nothing but layers (see Community Choice) and hot tea on an IV drip.
So how did I layer up today? For the office, I had a sweater, scarf and this blazer, the wool skirt and thick tights. For my commute it was something more like over-the-knee socks over tights with boots and my coat over the sweater/scarf/blazer combination. I wouldn’t say I was toasty. But the cold was tolerable.
Too bad the snow bullets made it a little difficult to open my eyes, as exhibited below.

Also? It took me years to accept the fact that hats make an enormous difference when it’s cold. PSA: Wear hats.
