Today was a sick day so rather than show you work wear, I wanted to share my favorite mommy on the go/weekend wear. Catch me on a Saturday morning, and you are likely to see skinny jeans and some sort of a striped top. If I want to go fast, I wear flats. But usually I’m in booties. This skirt was a little project right around the time I got pregnant. It fit much better my 16th and 17th weeks of pregnancy. I suppose since I made it I should be able to take it in. But there’s something a little scary about taking apart the skirt when I was so happy with the way it turned out. What if I ruin it?

While I try to avoid leather if I can, I would be lying if I said I was vigilant about that avoidance. Look, I know why so many people love leather. Especially calf skin leather. It’s like butter. It looks rich. And it smells natural.
